Cao Đài objective is to remind every Human Beings on Earth of  his (or her) True Spiritual Identity. Who is "Man"? Why does he (or she) comes to Earth? What is his (or her) true purpose in this world? How is he (or she) connected to this Universal Source of Life called God?

Cao Đài is not a "Religion" because Cao Đài does not seek followers, nor power, nor contribution. Cao Đài does not seek to build splendid church, nor powerful organization, nor numerous religious centers around the world.

So to join Cao Đài, you don't need to join any organization called Cao Đài, you just need to awaken to your own Spiritual Consciousness, find God Within yourself and join Him.

Every Human Being is created by God, has God Within himself. When he forgets his Divine Origin, he has to come to Earth to learn, to grow, to experience back his True Spritual Identity. Hell or Heaven does not exist in afterlife. Hell or Heaven is right here on Earth. Those who have not found God Within needs to return to Earth again and again to learn (reincarnation). Those who realize God are One with God, do not have to be born back to Earth (like Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha), except when they choose to come to teach and help other human beings.

Your body is a tool you use while on Earth. Just like the horse you ride on. You, as Spirit, have freedom of choice because you are the boss, you have God Within yourselves. You can choose to direct the horse to go where you want it to go, or to let the horse runs wherever it wants to run, it is your choice. You always have complete freedom. You can choose what path you want to go.  You have doubt because you don't know that you are all Son and Daughter of God. 

Don't confuse the Real You, which is God, with the tool, which is your body, your horse. God is not somewhere in the Universe or outside of it. He is right Here, Within yourself.  God  is not an all powerful person far away in Heaven. He is the Force and the Law behind all creations in the universe. You are one of his creations. You,  as human being, are the most valuable element of all creations because you  have God inside yourself. Your origin is Divine. You exist in the spiritual  dimension as a spark of His Divine Light before you come to the physical  dimension of this world. Your "soul" is this Original Spark of Light which has the same attribute as God. This is God Within you. The Real Person that you are, is Divine because You exist beyond time and space. You and God are of the same nature. You exist before there is this solar system, this earth, this material world.

When you come to earth, you borrow molecules and atoms from the physical world to create your body. Your body is the tool you use while you stay on earth. When you die, your body is returned to earth, but the Real You, your "soul" continues to exist forever. While on earth, you need foods to nourish your physical body. It does not matter whether you eat vegetable or meat. Vegetarianism is not important.

Each person is like a droplet of water coming from the same sea. If you stand from the separate view of the drop of water, you see yourselves as individual beings different from each others. If you stand from the "whole" view of the sea, then you are all "One". Your Real Persons are One and of the same nature as God.

Se comprendre soi-même en sa propre essence, c'est comprendre la Totalité où le "Je" a disparu.

Le but de l'existence individuelle est de réaliser le pur état d'être, dans lequel il n'y a pas de séparation, mais qui est la réalisation du tout. L'accomplissement de la destinée de l'homme est d'être la Totalité.

Tu cho mụch-đích đành rành,

Tu đừng lập vị, lập danh, lập quyền,

Tu cho quỉ phục thần kiên,

Tu đừng lo lập chùa chiền hại dân.

To walk the True Path,

Don't seek wordly recognition nor external power,

Recognize God inside yourself,

Because God does not reside in splendid churches.

La Vérité ne peut être décrite, elle doit être vécue et pourtant nous passons notre temps à chercher une description de la Vérité au lieu d'essayer de découvrir la façon de la réaliser.

Truth cannot be described; Truth has to be Lived, but we spend most of our time trying to describe Truth instead of finding way to Realize Truth.

Tài th́ dựng nước cứu nguy,
Đức ra phổ-hóa cho đời hưởng chung.

Tài là cái Đức để quản-trị thế-gian,
Đức là caí Tài dể hóa Nhơn thành Đạo.

Biết nuôi mọi chỗ, Biết ǵn khuyết Trung. (1)

Phước thay!

Sống trong cảnh sắc tiêu-dao,
Nhẹ phần vật-chất dồi-dào Phần Tinh.

"Nhẹ phần vật-chất" tức là trọn đặng tự-do hiển-nhiên bê ngoài về vật,
"Dồi-dào phần Tinh" tức là đặng tự-do bên trong về Tinh-Thần.

Trung: là cái Ḥa của Tâm với Tánh

Hiệp chí đồng lo Đạo nước nhà,
Hiệp vầy đoàn thể ớ con ta !
Hiệp ḥa trên dưới t́nh liên lạc,
Hiệp thuận anh em nghĩa mặng mà.
Hiệp ư keo sơn ǵn dạ Một,
Hiệp đường tánh mạng buổi kỳ ba.
Hiệp Tâm chúng trí đừng nghi lẩn,
Hiệp đặng gần rồi mới hiêp xa.
